2015-16: Named the CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Year…Named the CAA Men’s Most Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet at the 2016 CAA Championships…Named All-CAA in the 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay and 200 medley relay…Named the CAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete… Named the 2015-16 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Men’s Swimming & Diving Performer of the Year…Received the team’s Most Valuable award and the Senior Performance of the Year award (100 free at CAAs) at the squad’s season-ending banquet…Named the CAA Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 12…Named the Drexel Athlete of the Week on both Oct. 27 and March 1…Swam in seven different individual events for Drexel in his senior campaign…Five of his best times on the season came in the CAA Championship finals with times of 19.96 in the 50 free, 43.56 in the 100 free, 1:38.88 in the 200 free, 21.78 in the 50 back and 47.16 in the 100 back…His 50 free, 100 free, 100 back and 200 back set new school records…His 100 free was a school and CAA Championship record…Member of the 800 free relay squad that set a new school record at 6:34.44…Part of the 200 medley relay team that set a new school record at 1:27.87…A CAA Commissioner’s Award winner.
2014-15: Primarily swam in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke as well as the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and the 200 and 400 medley relays…named the Drexel men’s swimming Most Valuable Player for the 2014-15 campaign…swam in seven finals events at the CAA Championships including victories in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay…named All-CAA in three individual events and two relay events at the CAA Championships…named to the CAA Men’s Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team… named to the 2014-15 Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Men’s Swimming Team…set individual school records in three events at the CAA Championships including the 50 freestyle (20.11), 100 freestyle (43.77) and 100 backstroke (47.54)…also helped set school relay records in the 200 freestyle (1:21.25), 400 freestyle (2:58.77) and the 400 medley relays (3:17.61) at the Championships…owned the team’s top individual times of the season in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke… named the CAA Swimmer of the Week on January 27, 2015…named the Colonial Marble and Granite Athletes of the Week by Drexel Athletics for the week of March 4-10.
2013-14: Broke 200 relay Drexel pool record versus La Salle in 1:33.82 with teammates Chad Schmidt, Kyle Lukens, and Alex Bagshaw... defeated Loyola, Lafayette, and Seton Hall in the 200 relay with a time of 1:34.79... took the 400 relay during victory over George Washington in 3:27.08...at Frank Elm Invitation won the teams first top place finish in A round finals in the 50 free with a final time of 21.16, he also brought home a first place finish in A round finals in the 100 back with a time of 49.77...broke school record in the 50 free with a time of 20.41 during preliminaries at the CAA’s...won a bronze medal and broke a school record in the 200 relay at CAA Championships with a time of 1:29.22...at AT&T National Championships had his season best in the 200 back with a 1:51.7.
2012-13: Finished first in the 100 back against Lehigh breaking their pool record with 51.72...clinched the 100 and 200 backstroke events against Binghamton...won both back events and helped win the 200 medley relay against George Washington.
Background: Double silver medalist in the 2010 and 2011 German National Age Group Swimming Championships....winner of four gold medals in both the 2011 North German Swimming Championships and the Berlin State Age Group Swimming Championships...2009 German National Age Group Swimming Champion in both the 100m and 200m Backstroke events...captain of the Berlin British School Swim Team, BBS Swimmer of the Year recipient...awarded Full Colours for contributions to swimming.
