Named one of the team’s captains for the second straight year.
2017: Had a solid season for the Dragons…was third on the team with 11 assists and was fifth with 20 points…played well down the stretch…had 11 points in the final three regular season CAA contests…had a career-high three assists and four points against No. 2 Hofstra…scored the game-winner with 1:02 to play against the Pride…had his first career hat trick and four points in the win against Delaware…tied for fifth in the CAA in assists per game (1.4) in league games.
2016: Appeared in every game as a sophomore…scored seven goals and had five assists…named to the CAA All-Tournament Team after scoring two goals and handing out an assist at Towson…also had two goals and three points in the Dragons’ road win at Bryant…tallied a goal against Virginia, Saint Joseph’s and Binghamton.
2015: Played in 10 games as a freshman on attack…finished the year with a goal and two assists…scored his first collegiate goal against Villanova…also had an assist in the game…picked up his other assist in the win vs. Saint Joseph’s…ended the year with nine ground balls…had three ground balls vs. Virginia and against Binghamton.
Background: Graduated from Poway High School in California...named a U.S. Lacrosse All-American...three-time First Team All-Palomar League performer and was the Player of the Year as a senior...is the all-time leading scorer in school history.
Personal: Son of Scott and Dawn O'Donnell...his father played lacrosse at the U.S. Naval Academy...is one of three children...majoring in business.
