She was a four-time All-ACC shortstop while in Atlanta, a 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American, and also played professionally in 2012 for the Carolina Diamonds.
Weseman was the ACC's Freshman of the Year in 2009, batting .406 with nine home runs and 48 runs driven in. She was a First Team All-ACC selection that year, as she would be in each of the three ensuing seasons.
Weseman concluded her playing career at or near the top of several of Georgia Tech's all-time leaderboards. Her .387 batting average ranked her third all-time. She also ranked sixth in hits, third in runs scored, second in slugging percentage, fourth in walks, second in total bases and second in on-base percentage.
