David McFadden

David McFadden enters his third season as a wrestling assistant coach. He was a member of the Virginia Tech wrestling program from 2015 until 2020 and was a three-time NCAA All-American, two-time ACC Champion, and four-time NCAA qualifier. Other accolades include a selection to the U23 World Team, two-time New Jersey High School State Champion, and Fargo Junior National Finalist. Following his college career, he was the 2020 U23 National Championship and joined the Pennsylvania Regional Training Center as a senior resident athlete.
The West Milford, N.J. native, graduated in 2020 from Virginia Tech with a degree in human development and arrived in Philadelphia to pursue his goal of making the U.S. Olympic/World Team while training at the PRTC.
