
Dragons End the Fall With a 13th Place Finish at ODU/Seascape

The Drexel golf team closed its fall season at the Old Dominion/Seascape Tournament held in Kitty Hawk, N.C. The Dragons were 13th out of 18 teams in the tournament. They finished fourth out of seven teams from the Colonial Athletic Association that played in the tournament. As a team, Drexel shot 592 for the two rounds.
Campbell University won the tournament with a 556, four shots better than East Carolina. Winthrop University placed third.
Sophomore Sean Semenetz (Tyler Hill, Pa./Sullivan West) and junior Patrick Hardin (Bethlehem, Pa/Freedom) each had a 145 in the tournament. Hardin fired an even-par 70 in the second round, the top Drexel score on day two. Sementz and Frank Petrash (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) each had a 72 in the first round. Petrash finished tied for 44th overall with a 148.
Senior Jack Wallace (Beverly, N.J./Rancocas Valley) ended the tournament with a 155, while junior Steve Ransom (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May) had a 157.
