Dragons Fall to City Rival Saint Joseph's

Philadelphia, Pa. - Saint Joseph's edged Drexel 4-3 in women's tennis action Sunday. The Dragons took three matches in singles play, but the Hawks pulled out the victory by winning two out of three doubles matches.
Gabriela Marginean won at first singles 6-4, 6-2 over Stephanie Velazquez, improving to 2-0 on the fall season. Jaimee Wylie defeated Tristan Rappert 6-3, 6-2 at fifth singles and Melissa Bohm dispatched Katy Borden 6-2, 6-3 at sixth singles.
Wylie teamed with Ashley Doriss at third doubles to defeat Theresa Hornug and Katy Borden 8-1, but the Dragons dropped their other two doubles matches to conceed the overall loss.
