Women's Varsity Eight Takes First Place at Frostbite Regatta

Philadelphia - The Drexel men's and women's rowing team competed in the Frostbite Regatta on the Schuylkill River where the women's varsity eight boat took first place over Lehigh, Temple, Dowling and Lafayette. The Dragons finished the course with a time of 7:01.30, more than four seconds faster than second-place Lehigh. The men's varsity eight took fourth place in the six boat race with a time of 6:12.28.

The men's junior varsity eight placed third of five posting a time of 6:33.36 while the women's junior varsity eight finished fith with a time of 7:58.52.
