
Women's Tennis Completes Fall Season Undefeated With 7-0 Win Over Rider

Philadelphia, Pa. - Drexel's women's tennis teams defeated Rider in a dual match at Vidas Athletic Complex on Tuesday to close out the fall season with a perfect 6-0 record. The Dragons won for the second time in as many days and the 7-0 win over Rider (2-6) was the team's third straight shutout.
On the women's side, Drexel won its third straight match in shutout fashion to wrap up the fall season with a perfect 6-0 record entering the ITA Regionals at Penn this weekend. Drexel's doubles teams closed out the fall undefeated and allowed just one point to the Broncs while earning the team point. In singles play Gozde Unkaya and Anahita Jagtiani preserved their undefeated records in the fall with perfect 6-0, 6-0, straight-set victories over Allison Clay and Amanda Markovits, respectively. The women will make the four-block trek to Penn this weekend to play in the ITA Northeast Regional Tournament.
