Drexel Finishes in Tie for Third at Scotty Duncan Invitational

Staton, Del. - The Dragons finished in a tie for third in a field of 16 at the Scotty Duncan Invitational hosted by Delaware.. The two-round event was held at White Clay Creek Country Club on the par 72, 6,861-yard course. Andrew Lawson paced the Dragons with a 154 as he finished in the top 20 individually. Seton Hall won the event with host Delaware taking second place. Both Drexel and Monmouth shot a 614 for the tournament.
Sophomore Steve Kidron paced the Dragons in the first round, firing an even par 72. Andy Frank fired a 75 while both Lawson and Trevor Sahn shot a 77. In the second round, Lawson and Sean Semenetz each shot a 77 while Sahn and Frank closed the event with a 79 and 80, respectively.
Drexel will return to action on Oct. 11 for the Big 5 Classic at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
