Sahn's 68 Helps Drexel Take Second Among Philadelphia Schools at Big 5 Classic

Philadelphia - Trevor Sahn shot a three-under 68 in the final round, including a five-under 31 on the front nine, of the Big 5 Classic to lead the Dragons to sixth place overall among 15 teams and second behind only Temple among Philadelphia schools. Sahn's 68 was the lowest score for a round in the two-day, two-round tournament among all participants. The Owls total of 587 topped second-place Seton Hall by one stroke. In city competition, the Dragons' score of 596 defeated Penn by 14 strokes and Saint Joseph's by 24 strokes while besting La Salle by 91 strokes.
Sahn's two-round total of 143 earned him a place on the All-Tournament Team as he tied for third individually. Steve Kidron put together a solid pair of rounds, opening with a 75 before firing a 73 on the second day and finished tied for 12th. Andrew Lawson posted the lowest score in the opening round when he carded a 73 before a second-round total of 79. Sean Semenetz and Frank Petrash each finished with a 155.
