Golf Ties for Sixth at Old Dominion/Seascape Invitational

Kitty Hawk, N.C. - The Drexel golf team finished in a tie for sixth place at the Old Dominion/Seascape Invitational. Andy Frank led the Dragons with a two-round total of 145 on the par 70 course. He finished in a tie for eighth individually. The tournament marked the final action for the Dragons in the fall season.
Old Dominion won the event with a 579, seven strokes better than second-place Campbell. James Madison, USC-Upstate and George Washington finished third, fourth and fifth, respectively. The Dragons tied with Radford, Liberty, Temple and Elon for the sixth postion with a 603.
Frank shot an even par 70 in the opening round before finishing with a 75. Frank Petrash shot an opening round 71 and followed with a 78 the next day. Trevor Sahn rebounded from an 81 in the first round to shoot a 76. Steve Kidron shot an impressive 73 in the first round but finished with an 85. Sean Semenetz shot an 81 before finishing with a 79.
