Csakai and Hynes Each Claim Two Victories at George Washington

Washington, D.C. - Jessica Csakai and Kate Hynes each won a pair of events at the Dragons' dual meet at George Washington. Csakai took the 200 and 500 free while Hynes swept both the 1 and 3-meter diving events. Kaitlin Slowey also won the 200 fly for the Dragons who lost to the Colonials by a score of 177-103.
Csakai captured the 200 free with a time of 1:59.85 before earning a victory in the 500 free as she clocked a 5:17.86. Hynes continued her undefeated dual meet season with wins on both boards, including a new pool record on the 3-meter board. Her total of 353.10 bested the George Washington pool record and established a new season high for the senior. Slowey captured the 200 fly with a time of 2:12.76 and took second place in the 100 fly as she touched the wall in 1:01.19.
Maria Coman picked up a couple of second place finishes as the sophomore registered a 1:02.54 in the 100 back and a 2:14.16 in the 200 back. Freshman Malin Wiberg placed second in the 100 free with a time of 56.23. Sarah Keeley posted a time of 2:17.32 in the 200 IM behind only George Washington's Emily Leik in the event.
The Dragons return to action on Nov. 20 as they travel to College Park, Md. to compete in the three-day Terrapin Cup Invitational.
