Drexel Men Roll At St. Peter's, 5-2

Jersey City, N.J. - Led by the dominant performances of Omar Laalej and Joe Koebele at first and second singles, Drexel tennis triumphed over St. Peter's College 5-2 on Sunday. The Dragons swept doubles play to earn a team point and won four of the six singles matches for their third straight victory.

Laalej dispatched his opponent 6-1, 6-0 at first singles and also won with doubles partner Jason Savage-Pollock 8-4. Koebele won at second singles 6-3, 6-2 and teamed with Carlo Pangilinan to win second doubles 9-7. Pangilinan pulled out a close win at third singles in a second-set tiebreaker. Sabyasachi Bose finished out the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win to give Drexel the 5-2 victory.

The Dragons are back in action on Feb. 24 when the team travels to play Lehigh at 1:00 p.m.
