Thorofare, N.J. - Jaimee Wylie posted the lone win of the day for the Dragons at fourth singles, a dominant straight-set victory, but it was not enough to lift Drexel over Morgan State. The Bears took a 5-1 victory over the Dragons at the Riverwinds Tennis Center.
Wylie dispatched her opponent Sydnee Collins 6-1, 6-2 to give the team its lone point of the match. Mellissa Lewis lost a hard-fought three-set match 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 at second singles. Freshman Noorie Jadeja also lost a three-set match after dominating the first set 6-1, she dropped the second set 6-4 and fell in a heartbreaking tie breaker in the third set 7-3.
The Dragons are back in action next weekend when they travel to play St. Peter's on Feb. 17.
