Santa Clara, Calif. - In the Dragons' second game of the day at the Santa Clara Bronco Stampede, the team hit a speed bump with a 14-5 setback against North Dakota State. Drexel opened the day with a 3-0 shutout over the host Broncos. The Dragons' record is now an even 4-4 on the season.
Christina Rodriguez and Ashley Botelho both went 2-for-3 in the contest, supplying Drexel's offense in the loss. But the Dragons' pitching could not quiet the bats of North Dakota, who improved to 5-4 on the season with the victory.
Drexel is back in action on Saturday when they take on Boston College, at 10:00 a.m.(PST), and Campbell, at noon (PST), on day two of the Bronco Stampede.
