Dragons Trounce St. Peter's 6-1

Jersey City, N.J. - Drexel won five of its six singles matches en route to a commanding 6-1 victoy over St. Peter's on the road Sunday. The Dragons improve to 4-2 in dual match play this season. Freshman Bryan Nguyen won at fifth singles to remain undefeated in singles matches this fall.
In the tightest match of the day, senior Joe Koebele closed out Serge Ingel 6-3, 6-7(4), 6-4, coming back from a tough loss in the second-set tiebreaker to pull out a victory at first singles. Nguyen improved to 4-0 in singles play this spring with a straight set victory over Jake Baranowski.
The Dragons are back in action on Friday, Feb. 20 when they take on city rival Temple at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center.
