Dragons Roll Over Host Delaware State at Capital City Classic

Dover, Del- Christina Rodriguez had a double and a triple and two RBIs to lead Drexel in a 10-2 victory over the host Delaware State Tournament at the Capital City Classic Tournament on Sunday. The Dragons advanced to the tournament championship game with the victory and improved to 9-6 overall with the run-rul victory. .
A quartet of Drexel pitchers saw actioni in the contest. Katrina Gaudier picked up the win, throwing three scoreless innings and allowing one hit and no earned runs.Amanda Shattuck gave up both of Delaware State's runs in the game. Ellen Boundy and Hillary Allen combined to keep the Hornets without a hit for the final inning and two thirds to compete the victory.
Drexel will face St. Francis (Pa.), a team to whom they lost on Saturday, In the Championship Game at the 3:30 p.m.
