Dragons Varsity and Second Varsity Eight Defeat Villanova in Dual

Philadelphia - Drexel women's crew raced a pair of boats against Villanova in a dual meet on the Schuylkill River. The Dragons won both races as the varsity eight defeated the Wildcats' top eight by 0.5 seconds while the junior varsity won by 4.5 seconds.
Drexel top eight posted a time of 6:58.4 while the Wildcats' crossed the line at 6:58.9. The Dragons' second eight recorded a time of 7:16.0 to Villanova's time of 7:20.5.
Drexel returns to action next weekend in the Murphy Cup on the Schuylkill River.
