Dragons Edged by Robert Morris, 11-10

The Drexel men's lacrosse team was edged by Robert Morris on Saturday, 11-10. The Dragons fell to 0-2 in CAA play and 4-6 on the season.
The teams played even in the first half and went to the break tied at 3-3. Robert Morris scored the first two goals of the second half and held the lead the rest of the way as it won for the first time in CAA play since joining the league in 2005.
The Dragons trailed by as many as five goals in the second half before mounting a comeback that came up just a goal short. Drexel scored six times in the final period, but was unable to get within a goal until the final seconds when Greg Casey scored with five ticks remaining on the clock.
Kevin Stockel scored four goals for the Dragons. Colin Ambler and Adam Dennis each scored a pair of goal. Mark Manos had 11 saves. Five different Robert Morris players had two goals.
Drexel is back home on Saturday. The Dragons host Villanova in a game that can be seen live on the Comcast Network beginning at 3 p.m.
