Drexel to Close out 2010 at Bucknell Duals

Lewisburg, Pa. – Drexel (3-6) will face its final test of 2010 when it travels to Bucknell for the Bison Duals. The Dragons will face Princeton (1-4) at 11 a.m. followed by host Bucknell (1-3) at the conclusion of their match against the Tigers.
Drexel is coming off of the Bloomsburg Duals where it went 1-2 with a dominating 28-6 win over East Stroudsburg followed by back-to-back losses to Buffalo, 26-9, and Bloomsburg, 23-17. Freshman Austin Sommer went 2-1 on the day while recording pins for each of his victories at 149 pounds. Sommer boasts a team best .71 win percentage with a 10-4 overall record including a first place finish at the Cornell Body Bar Invitational.
Sophomore Joe Booth leads Drexel with 11 wins, five of which he picked up during a fourth place finish at the Cliff Keen Invitational in Las Vegas, Nev. Booth also went 2-1 at the Bloomsburg Duals at 165 pounds.
Brandon Palik has wrestled to an 8-6 overall record at 197 pounds and currently leads Drexel in pins this season with four. The redshirt freshman also earned an eighth place finish at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational going 3-3.
