
Drexel will look to escape the Philadelphia snow with a trip to Wilmington, N.C. for the Seahawk Intercollegiate
Dragons to Open Spring Season at Seahawk Intercollegiate

Wilmington, N.C. - Drexel Golf will begin the spring season at The Landfall Country Club site of the Seahawk Intercollegiate. Host UNC Wilmington and 11 other schools will compete in the two-day tournament starting March 1. The tournament will feature one of the toughest fields the Dragons have faced this season as five top 50 programs will compete including sixth-ranked Augusta State and seventh-ranked South Carolina.
On Monday, March 1, all teams will complete two rounds of competition before the tournament concludes the following day with one final round. In addition to national powers, the Dragons will be up against Colonial Athletic Association opponents Virginia Commonwealth, Georgia State, James Madison, William & Mary and the host Seahawks. Drexel Head Coach Mike Dynda will be sending seniors Kyle Davis and Andy Frank along with Andrew Lawson, Ben Feld and James Braunsberg to compete at the prestigious event.
