2010 NCAA Wrestling Brackets

Match-ups and brackets for the 2010 NCAA Wrestling Championships featuring two Drexel wrestlers have been released. For the first time in Drexel Wrestling history, the Dragons have a seeded entrant as senior Steve Mytych earned a 12 seed in the 133-pound bracket. Joining Mytych in the NCAA Tournament field is redshirt freshman Joe Booth at 157 pounds. The three-day tournament begins Thursday, March 18 in Omaha, Neb.

Mytych, a four-time NCAA Championships qualifier, will face Brandon Low of UC Davis in the first round with the winner to challenge the victor of a first-round match-up of fifth-seeded Borislav Novachkov of Cal Poly and Kendric Maple of Oklahoma. In his inaugural appearance at the NCAA Championships, Booth will face a stiff first-round test in third-seeded Jesse Dong of Virginia Tech.
