Men's Lacrosse Hosts Albany in Home Opener Saturday at Vidas Field

Philadelphia - The Drexel men's lacrosse team hosts the University at Albany on Saturday at Vidas Field. The Dragons, ranked 20th in this week's coaches poll, and Great Danes face-off at 1 p.m.
Drexel begins play with an 0-1 record. The Dragons lost their opener at No. 1 Virginia, 12-9. The game was tied at nine with 11 minutes to play, but the Cavaliers scored three unanswered goals to escape with the win. Scott Perri had three goals to lead the team. Perri and Kyle Bergman each had four points. Mark Manos made a career-high 19 saves in goal. Albany will play in its season-opener on Saturday afternoon.
Saturday's game will be the first of two straight home contests for the Dragons. Villanova will travel down Lancaster Avenue to face Drexel on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
