The Dragons end their season Saturday at St. John's
Men's Lax Closes 2011 With Road Game at St. John's on Saturday

Philadelphia - The Drexel men's lacrosse team closes out the 2011 campaign with a road contest at St. John's on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons (7-6) are coming off a 13-9 victory against Towson last Saturday and finished the Colonial Athletic Association schedule with a 3-3 mark.
The Dragons are the highest scoring team in the CAA, with five players with at least 16 goals. All-American candidate Scott Perri leads the league with 35 goals, 25 assists and 60 points. His 60 points are the most for a Drexel players since the 1993 season, when Erik Fink had 65 points. Robert Church is second on the team in scoring with 39 points and 22 goals. Kyle Bergman has 16 goals, 12 assists and 28 points, while Brendan Glynn (21) and Nick Trizano (19) are also in double figures in goals. Mark Manos has started every game in the cage and is fourth in the nation in saves per game.
The Red Storm is 4-8 and 2-3 in the Big East. St. John's has dropped two straight games, both to top 10 teams. The Red Storm lost last weekend to Villanova, 11-9, and to top ranked Notre Dame the previous week, 10-7. Kevin Cernuto and Kiernan McArdle each have 20 goals and 16 assists to lead the club. Jeff Lowman is the team's starting goalkeeper.
