GREENSBORO, N.C. – On the final day of competition at the AT&T Winter Nationals the Dragons once again recorded season-bests and Kyle Lukens advanced to another final.
"It was a great weekend to be a Dragon. Many had season-best times and we had our first final swims at Winter National, which is a great building block for the program," said Adam Braun.
The Plymouth Meeting native made the 'B' final in the 200-yard butterfly after qualifying 12th in the perlims earlier in the day with a 1:47.18. The 1:47.18 is the fastest time this season for the junior in the 200. In the final Lukens finished fifth with a 1:47.92.
"Kyle is a prime example of when you work harder in practice you swim faster at meets. He has been rewarded with a great first half of the season," said Braun.
