Women’s Swimming and Diving Closes Quad Meet at George Mason

FAIRFAX, Va. – The Drexel women's swimming team closed out a quad meet in Fairfax, Va. on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons fell to host George Mason, 208-143 along with conference foes Northeastern, 205-148, and Towson, 227-126.
Saturday
Senior diver Madison Kramer won both diving events at the meet, finishing with a first place score of 282.15 in the 1m on Saturday.
Junior Rachel Bernhardt won the 100 breast for the Dragons, finishing at 1:03.53, narrowly beating out a swimmer form Towson by 24-hundreths of a second. Bernhardt also placed third in the 200 breast at 2:24.15.
In the 200 medley relay, the squad of freshman April Forsthoffer, Bernhardt, junior Emily Lau and junior Claudia Duguay finished second with a final time of 1:47.60.
Junior Aubrey Murray placed third in the 200 free with a final time of 1:55.01. She also came in fourth in the 100 free at 53.45.
Forsthoffer came in fourth individually in the 400 IM for the Dragon women. The freshman finished at 4:37.33.
Friday
Kramer won the 3m dive for Drexel with a final score of 298.80.
In the 200 free relay, Bernhardt, Forsthoffer, Murray and Duguay finished second with a final time of 1:37.73.
Forsthoffer finished third in the 200 IM when she touched the wall at 2:09.96 while Bernhardt also placed third in the 50 free at 24.10.
