Luetzow and Badana Participate in World University Games

GWANGJU, South Korea - Men's crew's Ian Luetzow and women soccer's Eve Badana have each been selected and are currently participating in the 2015 World University Games, also referred to as Universiade. The Games began on July 3 and will run through July 14.
Luetzow represents the Dragons as a part of the U.S. heavyweight crew. This marks the second time he has been invited to compete in the World University Games. Back in 2013, Luetzow and the U.S. men's eight finished sixth overall in the grand final.
Badana also returns to the World University Games for a second appearance as a representative of Ireland. Currently a member of the Irish National Team, Badana also represented Ireland in Universiade in 2013.
The World University Games is an international multi-sports event for university athletes, which is organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). There are both Summer and Winter Games, which are held every two years, in odd years. Universiade showcases 21 sports and boasts some 20,000 participants from 170 countries.
