Golf Opens the Spring Season at Wildcat Invitational

Philadelphia - The Drexel golf team will begin its spring season on Monday morning in Malvern. The Dragons will compete in the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Villanova University, at White Manor Country Club.
The format for the tournament will be 18 holes on both Monday and Tuesday at the 7,055-yard course on the Main Line. Drexel will be represented by senior Yoseph Dance, juniors Aaron Fricke and Adam Mistretta, sophomore Michael Cook and freshman Connor Schmidt.
The 19-team field will consist of Binghamton, Bucknell, Cleveland State, Colgate, Delaware, Drexel, Fordham, Lehigh, LeMoyne, Manhattan, Monmouth, Navy, Rider, Siena, St. John's, Saint Joseph's, St. Peter's, Villanova and Wagner
Drexel is looking to continue its strong 2016-17 season. The Dragons finished first in two events in the fall and were just two strokes away from winning the City Six Tournament in early November.
