No. 8 Women's Squash Set for Road Match at No.12 Cornell

PHILADELPHIA – No. 8 Drexel women's squash returns to action after a month off with a road contest against No. 12 Cornell on Saturday, Jan. 19 beginning at 2 p.m. The Dragons enter the match with a 4-5 record and have moved inside the National Top-8 team rankings for the first time in the program's eighth year as a varsity program.
Last Time Out
The then-No. 9 Drexel women's squash team was defeated by No. 2 Trinity on Friday evening, 6-3. The Dragons' three wins came from Ona Prokes, Apoorva Addepalli and Emma MacGillivray. The women's squash team continued its busy stretch on Wednesday afternoon with No. 2 Trinity emerging with a 9-0 victory in a non-league match at Belkin International Squash Courts. With the loss, Cornell now holds a 1-6 record overall. Nghi Nguyen plays out of the top spot for the Big Red.
All-Time Series with Cornell
Saturday marks the sixth meeting between the Big Red and the Dragons. Drexel will look to earn their first win against Cornell this weekend.
