Women's Swimming and Diving Defeats Northeastern, Falls to Boston College

BOSTON, Mass. - The Drexel women's swimming and diving team traveled north, where they split a tri-meet by defeating CAA opponent, Northeastern, 157-142, and falling to Boston College, 161-138.
The standout swimmer of the day was freshman Fede Nocera. The Trieste, Italy native had three first-place finishes and anchored the 200 free relay team that finished first. Nocera finished on top in the 100 back, 200 back, and 200 IM.
Joining Nocera on the 200 free relay team were Lera Nasedkina, Chelsea Gravereaux, and RyannStyer. Nasedkina finished first in the 100 breast, and Maddie Riley in the 500 free, who also finished second in the 1000 free, Rounding out the first-place finishes for the Dragons.
On Friday night, the divers took center stage. Becca Demaree finished fifth on the 1-meter dive with a score of 263.75.
The Dragons now turn their attention towards the Patriot Invitational in Fairfax, Va. The three-day event will begin on Nov. 18 and will end on Nov. 20.
