Dragons Face Monmouth on Senior Night Friday

PHILADELPHIA- Drexel will end the 2023 regular season on Friday evening against Monmouth. Drexel will honor its eight seniors prior to the 5 p.m. face-off against the Hawks. Friday night's game is brought to you by Barnes & Noble.
About the Dragons
Drexel is now 7-5 overall and 4-2 in Colonial Athletic Association play. The Dragons have already clinched a spot in next weekends CAA Championships. Drexel will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Delaware, 18-13.
Offensively, Sean Donnelly leads the way with 30 goals and 40 points. He is third in the CAA in goals per game. Jack Mulcahy tops the squad with 14 assists to go along with 17 goals. Max Semple and Luke Tomak each have 21 goals.
Friday night the Dragons will be honoring eight student-athletes playing in their final game. Those students are Ross Blumenthal, Brennan Greenwald, George Grippo, Justin Joseph, Charlie Maly, Mulcahy, Patrick Udovich and Casey Waller. This group has led the Dragons to four straight CAA Championship appearances, two CAA title games and the 2021 CAA title.
About Monmouth
The Hawks come to Vidas for the first time ever and have a 5-8 record. They are 1-5 in league play. Monmouth has three 20-goal scorers, including Ty Caffarelli who has scored 27 times. Cade Stratton leads the team with 12 assists and 33 points. Andrew Kuhlman has started all 13 games in the cage.

The Dragons will head to Delaware next week to play in the 2023 CAA Championships. Drexel and Delaware have already clinched a spot in the four-team event. Game time and opponents will be determined later this weekend.
