Women's Swimming and Diving Finish Day Two of Bruno Invite

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Drexel women's swimming and diving team added three medals in day two of the Bruno Invite The Dragons, with 318 points, sit in third place, trailing Georgetown by 38 points in the four day invitational.
Mari Alencar won a gold medal in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.92. That time bested her first place preliminary time of 22.97.
In the 500 freestyle, Brittany Corbett broke the school record, recording a time of 4:48.98. That time earned Corbett a silver medal.
The final medal was in the 400 medley relay where Federica Nocera, Emma Pillich, Megan Ehrnfeldt and Mari Alencar won a bronze medal. The team hit the wall at 3:42.88.
On day three the 200 medley relay, 100 Butterfly, 400 IM, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and the 100 breaststroke finals will be featured. Preliminary's will start at 10:00am tomorrow followed by finals at 5:00pm.
