PRINCETON, N.J. – The Drexel men's tennis team fell to the Princeton Tigers, 7-0 on Sunday evening.
Princeton took the doubles point after sweeping all three matches. The pairing of Alan Jesudason and Alex De Sousa made their No. 1 match close, 6-3. Pierre Humayou and Hussein El Tawil also pushed their score to three before Princeton won the match.
In Singles play, Will Burridge was able to take a set from the 87th-ranked singles player, according to the ITA. However, Ellis took the tie-breaking third set. The final score of the match was 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (7)
Drexel returns to the Vidas Courts on February 9 to host Siena. First serve is slated for 11 a.m.
