Dragons to Play Northeastern in Boston on Friday Afternoon

PHILADELPHIA - The Dragons travel to Boston, Mass. on Friday afternoon to face the Northeastern Huskies at3 p.m. Action from Cabot Center can be seen on FloCollege.
Last Time Out
The Drexel women's basketball team defeated the Elon Phoenix, 64-37 on Sunday afternoon at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Chloe Hodges completed her second double-double of her career as Drexel improved to 9-8 overall and 5-2 in conference play. Elon fell to 11-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
Hodges scored 11 points and tallied 10 assists in her first double-double of the season. Hodges also corralled four rebounds and picked up four steals.
Amaris Baker tallied 24 points on a 10-for-18 mark. The senior went 2-for-4 from long range, grabbed four rebounds and dished two assists. The conference's leading scorer has now scored north of 10 points in 13 straight games.
Cara McCormack finished Sunday's contest with 10 points on 4-for-8 shooting. The graduate student grabbed three rebounds and two assists.
Grace O'Neill finished with a season-high 12 rebounds and tied a career-high five assists. The Dragons held Elon to just 10-for-55 shooting.
The Phoenix had a pair of players reach nine points, but no one reached double digits. This weekend, Drexel's opponents only shot 27-for-114 and 6-for- 45 from deep.
Scouting Northeastern
Northeastern enters Friday's matchup with a 1-15 record and an 0-7 mark in the CAA. Last weekend, the Huskies traveled to Stony Brook and was defeated, 62-46. The Huskies then traveled to Monmouth and fell, 69-46. The Huskies are led by Abby Jegede, who averages 16.1 points per game, and Yirsy Queliz, who scores 10.6 per game. After Jegede and Queliz, the third highest scorer is Natalie Larranaga, who notches 7.2 points per game.
