Dragons to Conclude Homestand Against Old Dominion

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel Dragons will finish their three-game homestand against the Old Dominion Monarchs on Sunday, November 23, at 2 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
ABOUT DREXEL
The Drexel Dragons are 2-4 after falling to the Penn Quakers Friday evening, 84-68, at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. Sophomore Josh Reed led the team with a career-high of 21 points. Reed shot 64% from the field and finished the night with five rebounds and a steal. Shane Blakeney scored 11 points, blocked the ball twice and had a steal. Garfield Turner tied his season-high of seven rebounds. Victor Panov returned after missing the previous two games with eight points and four rebounds. The team ended the night shooting 42.2% from the field and outscoring Penn in the paint, 36-28. The Dragons' bench outscored the Quakers' bench 40-10.
ABOUT OLD DOMINION
The Monarchs are 3-3 after defeating Morgan State on Friday. Mike Jones coaches them in his second season. Junior Robert Davis Jr. was named Preseason Player of the Year for the Sun Belt Conference as well as being on the Preseason All-Sun Belt Third Team.

The Dragons will head to Baltimore to take on the Morgan State Bears
