CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Drexel softball team was defeated in the second day of the Tar Heel Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Friday afternoon. The Dragons were defeated by George Mason to begin the day, 8-0. In the second game of the day against Princeton, Drexel fell, 9-0.

In game one, Lana Mooney led the Dragons with two hits in three trips to the plate. Izzy Alamillo tallied Drexel's third hit of the game.

The Dragons returned to Anderson Softball Field for their second game of the game against Princeton. The Dragons received a hit from Mia Garza, Devyn Demchak and Kelsie Peters.

The Dragons finish the Tar Heel Invitational on Saturday to play George Mason at 11 a.m.
