PHILADELPHIA– Drexel women's tennis falls to William and Mary, 7-0. The Dragons move to 4-4 on the season.
In doubles, both completed matches were decided in tiebreakers, with Elisa Rigazio and Sofiya Snitko falling 7-6 at the top spot, while Anastasia Kavounov and Rebecca Fiedler also dropped a 7-6 decision at No. 2.
In singles, Anastasia Kavounov put up a strong fight at No. 3, splitting sets before falling in a 10-point tiebreaker. Elisa Rigazio had a competitive match at the No. 1 position, pushing the first set to 7-5 before dropping the second 6-4.
The Dragons will be on the road at Charleston, South Carolina on March 26th to take on the College of Charleston. The match is set for 1:30pm.
