Dragon of the Week: Finley and Kwasny

PHILADELPHIA - Bridget Finley and Jakub Kwasny named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopedics, for the week of February 24th-March 2nd.
Bridget Finley member of women's lacrosse, notched her season high in goals twice this week in Drexel's two wins. Finley put up a season high five goals in a 14-9 win on the road at Penn State. The redshirt senior then scored five more goals three days later in a 14-7 win over Fairfield. The Downingtown, Pa. native now has 17 goals in just six games on the season.
Jakub Kwasny, member of men's swimming and diving, won five gold medals and a silver while also breaking three CAA records and five school records at the 2025 CAA Championships. Individually, Kwasny took gold and set a new CAA and school record in the 100 fly with a time of 45.50. He also won gold in the 200 fly hitting the wall at 1:44.10. The graduate student helped Drexel to gold medals in the 200 free relay (1:18.01-School Record), 400 free relay (2:52.71-CAA and School Record), and the 400 medley relay (3:07.40-CAA and School Record). The Chorzow, Poland native added a silver medal in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:25.25.
