TOWSON, Md. – The Drexel softball team was defeated by the Towson Tigers, 8-0 on Saturday afternoon in Towson, Md.
Madison Taylor started in the circle and pitched 4.2 innings. Prior to the game entering a lightning delay in the bottom of the fourth, Taylor held the Tigers to just two runs on four hits.
When the game returned after the brief delay, the Tigers scored six runs to enforce the mercy rule. The Dragons picked up one hit on the day. Kylah Reading hit a single up the middle in the fourth.
The Dragons return to Towson, Md. to play the series finale against the Tigers on Sunday at 1 p.m. action can be seen on FloCollege.
