PHILADELPHIA – Janet E. and Barry C. Burkholder Family Women's Basketball Head Coach Amy Mallon has named Regan Gallagher as the Director of Basketball Operations. Gallagher joins the Drexel staff after spending three seasons with the Penn men's basketball program.
"We are thrilled to have Regan join the Drexel Women's Basketball family," Mallon said. "She brings great energy and a real passion for supporting and empowering student-athletes. Her strong organizational skills will help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, and that kind of structure makes a big difference in our program."
During her time at Penn, Gallagher managed the daily operations, along with coordinating all travel, practice times, team events and opponent practice times. Prior to her time with Penn, Gallagher served as the assistant director of advancement for Archbishop Wood, where she managed the portfolio of donors.
Gallagher is no stranger to Philadelphia basketball. A graduate from Saint Joseph's in 2020, she served as a student manager with the Hawks' women's basketball team and was the team's lead manager as a junior and senior.
Gallagher earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from SJU, with a minor in leadership, ethics and organizational sustainability.
