Drexel to Play Towson Monday on CBS Sports Network

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's basketball team will travel to Towson, Md. on Monday to face the Towson Tigers. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. This is the first of four games the Dragons to be covered on CBS Sports Network this season. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons started their two-game road trip with a 73-51 win over the Monmouth Hawks on Thursday. Shane Blakeney led the team with 18 points. Blakeney shot 6-10 on the night, including 5-6 from three. He also pulled in seven rebounds along with two assists and two steals. Eli Beard scored 15, shooting 5-8 from three. He also stole the ball twice. Victor Panov scored nine with five rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block. The Dragons shot 48.1% and outrebounded the Hawks 35-34. This was the third straight game that the Dragons have held an opponent to a season low.
ABOUT TOWSON
The Tigers are 10-9 (2-4 in CAA play) after back-to-back wins. They are coached by Pat Skerry in his 15th season as Towson head coach. Junior Tyler Tejada leads the team with 16.4 points per game.

Drexel leads the all-time series 51-32. Towson swept the season series last year.
