Lucy Dailey Named CAA Co-Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. — Lucy Dailey of the Drexel women's lacrosse team has been named CAA Co-Rookie of the Week, as announced by the organization Monday.
Dailey made nine saves to lead the Dragons to a 10-9 win over Elon on Saturday afternoon. The redshirt freshman came up clutch down the stretch, allowing just one goal in the final ten minutes to preserve Drexel's 4-1 run. The Jupiter, Fla., native made a key save with 1:35 to play, setting up Teagan Quinn's game-winner. It marks the third consecutive game Dailey has recorded nine or more saves.
The Dragons return to action on Wednesday to face No. 22/23 Georgetown in Philadelphia. The opening draw is set for 3 p.m.
