Dragons Ready for Regular Season Finale Against Towson on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA - The Dragons play their final game of the 2025-26 regular season on Saturday, March 7 in Towson, Md. Tip off against the Tigers is slated for 2 p.m. inside SECU Arena.
Last Time Out
The Drexel women's basketball team defeated the Hofstra Pride, 70-56, on Thursday evening on Long Island. With the victory, Drexel improves to 20-8 and 13-4 in CAA play. It is the first time the Dragons have put together a 20-win season since the 2022-23 season.
The Dragons have secured the double bye in the upcoming CAA Tournament with the victory against the Pride on Thursday night, while the Dragons are uncertain what seed they will be, they will end somewhere in the top-4 in the league.
With her second field goal of the night, Amaris Baker joined the program's top 10 for field goals, overtaking Jen MacNeill, with 555.
Four Dragons checked in with 10 or more points on Thursday night. Laine McGurk scored 15 points on 7-for-14 shooting, Baker scored 13, Molly Rullo scored 10 and Bria Watkins finished with 12.
Watkins cracked double digits for the first time in her career. The freshman finished with four field goals and three rebounds.
The Dragons finished with 24 assists and 27 field goals made.
It is the first time the Dragons are victorious in Hempstead since February 24, 2023.

Drexel and Towson first met on February 5, 1983. Towson was victorious 76-53 and began the series with a six-game winstreak.
Last Time Against Towson
The Drexel women's basketball team defeated the Towson Tigers handedly, 68-45, on Saturday night inside the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Dragons, grabbed 48 rebounds, which is a team-high against Division I opponents this season, and outscored Towson 33-21 in the second half to earn its fourth conference victory of the season.
Towson, who entered the game second in the conference in points per game, was held to its second-lowest point total of the season.
The Dragons defense also held Towson to just 26.2 percent from the field on 16-for-61 shooting and just 5-for-24 from deep. Offensively, Drexel was on par for its shooting percentage, finishing .4% higher at 41.8%.
Molly Rullo finished with 16 points, and a career-high five free throws. The freshman shot 5-for-10 from the field and also grabbed four rebounds and three assists.
Laine McGurk grabbed nine rebounds in Saturday's effort, topping her previous career-high of six, which was set against Stony Brook on Friday, January 23, 2026.
It is the largest victory against Towson since the team was victorious in 2019, 77-44.

Drexel's first game will be on Friday, March 13, the time will be determined at the end of the game against Towson.
