Jenika Cuocco Selected in 2026 WLL College Draft

BRISTOL, Conn. — Drexel women's lacrosse alumna Jenika Cuocco was selected in the Inaugural WLL College Draft Wednesday night. The goalkeeper was taken with the No. 14 overall pick in the fourth round by the Maryland Charm.
While at Drexel, the Sound Beach, N.Y., native collected three consecutive CAA Goalkeeper of the Year honors, the only player in conference history ever to claim three straight major awards and four major awards overall. She was named an All-American by USA Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse and the IWLCA in 2024, while also earning honorable mention honors in 2023 and 2025. That season, Cuocco led the nation in both total saves and save percentage, while ranking second nationally in saves per game. Cuocco is the current leader in career saves among active NCAA Division I players (709).
The WLL will play its first full season this summer, with the Charm set to open their season in late May.
