Geiger Named CAA Defensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel's Halle Geiger was named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Geiger was a standout in the cage over the weekend for the Dragons. The junior keeper recorded six saves in a shutout against James Madison in a 1-0 victory. Additionally, the Delaware native recorded five saves against No. 13 Maryland. Geiger leads the conference in Save percentage with a .786 average.
The Dragons will make their Home opener facing Long Island University on Friday, September 4th at 4 p.m. at Buckley Field.
