Kelly Wood is in her second season at Drexel where she joined the Dragons’ coaching staff after a stellar career at Wake Forest. Wood was a four-year starter at midfield and led the Demon Deacons to the 2002, 2003, and 2004 NCAA title. In 2002 and 2003, Wake Forest captured the Atlantic Coast Conference regular-season and tournament titles in consecutive seasons for the first time in school history. For her career, Wood tallied nine goals and nine assists, including a goal against Duke in the 2004 National Championship game and an assist on the game-winning goal in Wake Forest’s 2003 National Championship win over Duke.

Wood is originally from Lititz, Pa. where she was a two-time First Team All-American at Warwick High School. She won a pair of Pennsylvania AAA State Championships in her scholastic career and was a member of the Under-18 United States National Team.
