Attended Darien High School in Connecticut...led his team to three state championship games and three Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference titles...was twice named all state...also a two-time All-FCIAC pick...played three seasons of ice hockey and was a two-time All-FCIAC and All-Connecticut selection.
