A senior attackman from nearby Swarthmore…possesses a good shot and has been a contributor for his first three seasons.
2008: Played in every game and had nine starting assignments…scored eight goals and chipped in with three assists…has a pair of goals against Robert Morris…also had two points against Virginia and Saint Joseph’s.
2007: Appeared in 15 games…finished third on the team with 18 goals…scored a career-high five goals against Albany…had three of the teams four goals in win vs. Binghamton…chipped in with 15 ground balls.
2006: Played in 12 games as a rookie…contributed five goals and four assists…scored twice in the win vs. Sacred Heart…picked up two assists in season-finale vs. Yale…also had two ground balls.
Background: Graduated from Ridley after transferring from Cardinal O'Hara…a member of the 2003 State Championship team…named All-League and was All-Delaware County as a senior…played in the state semifinals three times…also played football at Ridley.
Personal: Son of Ronald and Maureen Garling…majoring in sport management.
