Bio
2017: A starter in Drexel’s midfield…contributed nine goals and had three assists for 12 points…scored two goals against both Villanova and Towson…had a season-high three points against the Wildcats, adding an assist to go along with his two goals…had an assist in each of the last two games against UMass and in the CAA semifinals against Towson.
2016: Made an immediate impact in his first season with the Dragons…started in all but one game…recorded 12 goals, which was fifth on the team…had a hat trick against Albany in just his second Division I game…had a pair of goals against St. John’s and at Towson…handed out two assists and had four ground balls on the season…a CAA Commissioner’s Academic Award Winner.
Background: Comes to Drexel after attending the Community College of Baltimore County Essex last year...was a First Team Junior College All-American on a team that advanced to the title game...graduated from Penncrest High School where he scored 196 goals and had 56 assists...was the 2014 Delaware County and Central League Player of the Year and played on the state championship team...was a two-time All-American and was twice named All-State.
Personal: Son of Ken Manganiello and Mary Young...one of three children...his uncle, Tom Young, played lacrosse at Drexel...undecided on major.
