Ptah Myers was hired as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach in April of 2024. He enters his first year as part of head coach David Castellanos' staff.
Myers comes to DU with over 13 years of head coaching experience. He most recently completed his 13th year at the helm of the Jefferson men's soccer program. With the Rams, Myers accrued 124 wins, the most in the program's 64-year history. He has produced the 2017 CACC Defensive and Player of the Year and was named the conference's Men's Soccer Coach of the Year. During his time at Jefferson, he produced 10 players who were drafted to play professionally. He also led the Rams to the conference title in 2014, making the school's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Before Jefferson, Myers was an assistant coach for the Villanova Wildcats during the 2009 season. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Massachusetts in 2005 with a minor in Afro-American studies. Myers joins the coaching staff with a plethora of playing experience. He played for the Columbus Crew in 2004 before joining the Philadelphia KIXX for a six-year tenure until 2010. Following his time with the KIXX, Myers played for the Chicago Riot, Baltimore Blast, Pennsylvania Roar and Florida Tropics.
